Thomas Mason — founded in 1796 in Lancashire, now part of the Albini Group. Known for its distinctive colors, bold patterns, and the finest yarn counts.
The fabrics are double-twisted, resulting in a smooth surface with a subtle sheen. Typical patterns include wide stripes, houndstooth, and fine check patterns in a rich color palette.

Not all cotton is the same
The quality of a custom-made shirt is determined even before the fabric is woven—by the fiber itself. The length, fineness, and uniformity of the cotton fiber determine how soft, lustrous, and durable the finished fabric will be.
Sea Island Cotton
Grown in Antigua, Jamaica, and Barbados. Annual global yield: only 90–160 bales — 0.006% of global production.
Giza 45
The “Queen of Cotton.” Only 90 bales produced worldwide each year. A fiber fineness of 2.95 micrometers—barely measurable, but noticeable.
Egyptian cotton
Grown in the Nile Delta, hand-picked. Long fibers ensure better spinnability, yarn stability, and reduced tendency to wrinkle.
Supima
American long-staple cotton, 93% from California’s San Joaquin Valley. With a fiber diameter twice as thick—ideal for white shirts.
