Craftsmanship,
—that’s what remains.

We are a Düsseldorf-based bespoke tailoring house with a clear mission: Every garment that leaves our atelier is meant to accompany its wearer for a lifetime— in quality, fit, and style.

The team at Made-to Measure by Christian Weilert
Our History

A name.
A promise.

What began as one man’s vision is now a vibrant atelier that connects Düsseldorf with the world of the finest fabrics. Made-to Measure by Christian Weilert was founded in 2018 – with the goal of bringing the art of tailoring into the 21st century: without compromising on quality, yet accessible to men who know what they want.

Today, three partners run the business together— each with their own expertise, all with the same eye for detail. What unites us is the belief that a custom-made suit is not a luxury one treats oneself to, but a decision one makes.

Our customers come from Düsseldorf, Cologne, Essen, Wuppertal, and far beyond. Some make a special trip just to visit us. What they all have in common is that they’ve experienced what it feels like to be truly well-dressed—and haven’t wanted anything else since.

What drives us

Five values.
No compromises.

I.

Craftsmanship & Quality

Each piece is crafted with the tailor’s eye and the artisan’s hands. We use only fabrics from Europe’s leading weavers.

II.

Personal relationship

No order forms, no call centers. Just a personal conversation—where we listen before we measure.

III.

Rooted in Düsseldorf

Our home is the Rhine-Ruhr region. This is where we know our customers, and this is where our trust grows—one suit at a time.

IV.

International Topics

From Albini to Zegna, from English wool to Italian linen—our inventory features over 5,000 fabrics from the world’s finest mills.

V.

Sustainability

Custom-made clothing is inherently sustainable: a garment that fits perfectly isn’t put away. We prioritize durability over fashion trends.

The people behind it

Three partners.
One philosophy.

Behind every custom-made garment are people who don’t just do their jobs—they live them. Meet the team that will guide you through the process, from your first consultation to the final fitting.
